About Us

African Student Association (ASA) The African Student Association (ASA) at Howard Community College fosters an inclusive environment for students of African descent and those interested in African culture. Our mission is to celebrate the diversity of African heritage, promote cultural awareness, and create opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. Through educational and social programs, we build a sense of community and unity among members while supporting academic success and personal growth. We strive to connect the African diaspora with the broader college community.
